  An industrial haze that originated in the Midwest
settled over half of Texas on Friday and was expected
to spread across most of the state over the weekend.
  It began moving into Texas earlier in the week,
blanketing the state from Abilene to Houston and all
the way down to the Mission on the border and covering
150 of the state's 254 counties.
