a cool front stalled just to the west today allowing the mercury rise to
94 degrees to break the old record of 92 degrees set in 1966. this was
the 7the day in a row the airport recorded a temperture over 90.
official records for Providence R.I. are recorded at T.F. Greene airport
in Warwick R.I. just south of Providence.
