From today's Cincinnati Enquirer:
5 hurt as lightning strikes soccer field
Storms ignite fires, cut power to thousands
By Stephenie Steitzer
The Cincinnati Enquirer
Thunderstorms tore across the Tristate Sunday afternoon, bringing lightning
that sparked several fires and left five people slightly injured when a
bolt hit near a soccer tournament.
The five apparently got a mild shock when lightning struck the ground about
2:30 p.m. at Miami Meadows Park in Miami Township. At least three of the
five people were taken to area hospitals, where they were treated and
observed for several hours, authorities said.
