Earlier this week, Johanesburg, South Africa reported 22 deaths and severe property damage from severe winter weather as heavy snows and rains. Apparently, most who perished were not prepared for 3 feet of snow. Hypothermia and drowning caused the demise of most victims. Livestock suffered as well.
