"The Tornados of May 31, 2002 David Nicosia, Warning Coordination
Meteorologist, National Weather Service, Binghamton On May 31, 2002 at
least 5 tornados touched down in central New York and northern
Pennsylvania. Most of the tornados were classified as weak or F0 on the
Fujita Scale of Tornado Intensity. F0 tornadoes have winds between 40 and
72 mph..."
