Despite all of the rainfall in Central Florida recently we are still officially in a drought. The Southwest Florida Water Management still has water restrictions in place and has not yet indicated that it intends to end or relax these restrictions any time soon. As we all know the rains only come in summer here. We should continue to conserve our water resouces despite all of the rain we are having now.
One thousand people move to Florida every day! All of these people are going to use water. The farmers all use water! Conservation should always be our number one priority. Here at Grayfox Weather we only recieved 9.25 inches of rain in the same time period all of these other areas were getting 25 and 30 inches. So lets not get overly excited about a little rain!
