ED. NOTE: PSU'S Temperature Statistics also indicate that this week was
very hot for the nation, with 33% of the nation over 90 degrees on Tuesday
and Wednesday with 31.4% on Thursday. The average temperature of the
nation rose consistently this week to what I am sure is a new year's high,
from 72 to 78.

Here at WeatherMatrix HQ we reached 94 or 91 this week depending on which
instrument you ask. Our normal high for this week is 79-81. We were over
85 for 7 days.
