"Tuesday, June 25, 2002 Raging firestorms continue to burn out of control
in the Desert Southwest Tuesday afternoon. Near Show Low, Arizona, the
fires have already destroyed over 350,000 acres, including at least 375
homes and 16 businesses. The edge of the fire is just a half-mile from Show
Low. Winds are light Tuesday afternoon, which should help at least a little
bit with the fire-fighting efforts, but with no rain in sight and low
humidity, the battle is likely to continue for the foreseeable future."
