The NWS confirmed 2 weak tornados resulting from last Thursday's severe
storm outbreak. One was near Orange VA, the other near Frederick MD.

It was hot in the East Tuesday, but no records were set in VA. Temps at
5pm, about the time of the daily high, reached well in the 90s at some
southern stations.
