The Tampa Bay NWS office in Ruskin reporded that a tornado touched down in North Tampa yesterday causing minor damage to some rooftops. The NWS sent out warnings before hand having spotted the rotation on the Doppler Radar. This added with the fact the Tornado was small and occured during local news time was enough to prevent any serous injuries.
