From AccuWeather
"The difference in pressure between [the semi-tropical] system [in the
Caribbean] and an area of high pressure over and off the U.S. Southeast
coast will bring a strong east wind. This will lead to a very rough surf
along the east coast of Florida through Sunday and perhaps along the
Georgia and Carolina coasts early next week. The combination of this strong
onshore flow and high spring tides will cause tidal flooding and beach
erosion during the time of high tide along the Florida Atlantic Coast
through the weekend."
