The thunderstorms have subsided throughout the Florida Keys. Light rain is
across the area now.
This station recorded a total of 1.85 inches of precipitation. The National
Weather Service Forecast Office at Key West recorded 3.80 inches of
precipitation. They also recorded a max wind gust of 36mph from the west.
The max wind gust at this station, three miles south of the weather service
office, was 20mph, also from the west.
Street flooding has also subsided.
Interestingly enough the day's minimum temperature at this station (72.5F)
was recorded at 4:58pm as another thunderstorm made its way across the
island.
