[STORMREPORTS] Winter Returns to Pennsylvania, New York

Light to moderate snow was reported in northern Pennsylvania and southern
New York state this morning (May 18).

BINGHAMTON, NY 7am 32 3/4 SNOW AND FOG
ELMIRA ARPT, NY 7am 34 4 SNOW/RAIN
WELLSVILLE, NY 7am 32 1/2 SNOW

The NWS Says, for parts of northern part of PA: "TODAY...WET SNOW...MIXED
WITH RAIN IN THE VALLEYS THIS MORNING...1 TO 2 INCHES OF SLUSHY
ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE ACROSS HIGHER ELEVATIONS THIS MORNING."

And for parts of southern NY: "TODAY...RAIN AND SNOW THIS MORNING.
PRECIPITATION MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 3 INCHES
WITH LOCALLY GREATER AMOUNTS...MAINLY OVER HIGHER ELEVATIONS."

Snow showers are possible again later today and Sunday in these areas.

In addition, various Frost & Freeze advisories are in effect for NY & PA
with temperatures expected to dip into the 20s tonight.
