Various harsh showers and thunderstorms swept over HQ today (from the NW,
which is abnormal but we're on the back side of the low pressure system
now) in State College PA (near "CCX" in the image below).

High winds and heavy (but brief) rains came with these storms.
We picked up a quarter of an inch of rain so far (4:30pm), in addition to
the 2"+ that feel Sunday afternoon into Monday afternoon. We are now close
to our monthly normal rainfall (in 3 days).
Winds to 34mph have been observed (within top 20 wind records).

Report of an extended period of marble-sized hail at 1:30pm, because of the
cam problems* none showed the ground well so size and coverage could not be
confirmed.
WeatherCam #5 showed the storms moving in and out of the area.

*We had a power outage at 11:30am which took down the Lightning Detector,
Weather Station #3, and WeatherCam #3. WeatherCam #4 was out for service.
