Severe Weather Reports on Monday:
--A possible tornado was reported by the fire department
5 miles
east of Surry, Virginia.
--A 62-mph wind gust was reported at Salisbury,
Maryland.
--A 60-mph wind gust was reported in Chesapeake,
Virginia.
--Numerous trees and power lines were reported down
between Chase
City and Boydton in Virginia.
--Trees and power lines were down across Hancock,
Maryland.
Traffic signs were also blown down across the area as
well.
--The roof was torn off a house 3 miles southwest of
Mount Rush,
Virginia.
--0.75-inch hail was reported in Winnsboro, South
Carolina.
--Gusty winds were responsible for trees that were blown
down
across Hedgesville, West Virginia.
--One-inch diameter hail pelted northwestern Baltimore,
Maryland. Numerous trees and power lines were also
downed.
