COLUMBUS, Ohio -- National Weather Service representatives are
expected to travel to northeastern Fairfield County this morning
after a possible tornado touched down near Baltimore, Ohio.
Damaging winds and hail were reported southeast of Baltimore, 4 Warn
Storm Team meteorologists Jym Ganahl and Bob Nunnally reported.
It appears that the worst of volatile weather is over across Central
Ohio.
Reports of large hail and damaging winds were reported along a line
of Interstate 70, according to Ganahl and Nunnally.
There are still some strong thunderstorms in the eastern parts of
the NBC 4 viewing area.
The only severe thunderstorm watch in effect is for south and
eastern Ohio, Ganahl said. Click here to see if your county is under
a severe weather advisory.
E-mail us at colnews{at}nbc4columbus.com with damage reports and send
us your severe weather photos, too.
Some of the damage reports included one inch hail in Grove City and
at Hamilton Road/Route 33.
Trees down in Somerset, Ohio, in Perry County, closing U.S. Route
22.
Trees down in Pleasantville, Ohio, in Fairfield County.

I live in Gahanna in northeast columbus, it was storming pretty
good. Sounds like most of it was south and east of Port Columbus
Intl.
