unstable air ahead of a cold front Friday afternoon and blasted through the
major cities of the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic with incredible wind gust
reports...

KEWR/Newark, NJ - 66 knots (76 mph)
KLGA/LaGuardia Airport, New York, NY - 60 knots (69 mph)
UNOFFICIAL AWS WEATHERNET STATION REPORTS:
Lehighton, PA - 75 mph
Schnecksville, PA - 66 mph
Numerous hail reports and even 5 gustnadoes in Jersey City, NJ were reported
from this area of thunderstorms. An LSR was released by NYC NWS office, but
not yet from PHL concerning the 75 mph wind gusts north of ABE. Here at
Perkasie, PA, a gust of 52 mph was recorded as the storms passed.
