Yesterday afternoon, the Northwest corner of South Carolina was hit by a severe thunderstorm. We received 1.46" of rain in about 35 minutes, along with dime size hail and a wind gust of 43mph. We also experienced intense lightning. As I type this, I can hear the rumble of thunder back on the mountains.
