Papua New Guinea Landslide Kills 8 (Associated Press)

At least eight people died and as many as 22 were missing after a landslide
in the remote central highlands of Papua New Guinea, a newspaper reported
Wednesday.

Morobe Provincial Administrator Manasupe Zurenuoc told The Post-Courier
newspaper that the area had experienced heavy rains for the past few weeks,
as well as a small earthquake on Monday, which may have contributed to the
landslide.
