[STORMREPORTS] Severe Storm Just Moved Thru Oxford Junction, Iowa

At about 2:54AM CST the wind was blowing like there was no
tomorrow...up around 60-70mph. It blew constantly for about 10
min. I have honesly never heard or seen the wind blow that hard or
has it blown that hard around here for a very long time. We actualy
had a few windows blow out from the wind blowing so hard. Even our
150 pound gas grill managed to fly about 40 feet accross our yard.
8 inch diameter tree limbs we also downed...about 20 of them.
Electricty never managed to get knocked out and there was never a
severe thunderstorm warning issued for Jones County. Warnings all
around us but never one for us. Tomorrow it looks like it's going
to be time for clean-up to begin. Currently we are sitll reciving
heavy rain almost a inch has falled in the last 35 min. There will
be a complete update on wxduck.com of all the storm damage.
