[STORMREPORTS] Another Non Event?

Good morning everyone,

The snow in northern Illinois began to fall around 2130 hrs on
03/01/02, it became moderate for about 2 hrs and then turned to flurries in
my area about 0330. We were forecast to get 4-7 inches by morning with an
additional 5-8 during the day. Only 2-3 inches has fallen with the
temperature now at 32.7 degrees at 0430 am. I am northwest of Chicago about
55 miles where the snow was forecast to come down at a rate of an inch per
hour overnight. Needless to say this hasn't happened yet. Could this be a
case of excited computer models? I'll leave that up to you!

Steven
