The Florida Keys and South Florida have seen a lot of precipitation tonight
from a system that's moving acoss the Keys from the Gulf of Mexico. It's the
first precipitation-significant system this month.
The system ran across Key West at 9pm and by 10:30pm this station recorded
1.33" of precipitation. The National Weather Service Office three miles to
the North recorded .54". There has also been localized street flooding in
Key West.
Radar: http://www.srh.noaa.gov/radar/latest/DS.p19r0/si.kbyx.shtml.
Our forecast calls for more rain through late Saturday afternoon.
Regards,
Harry
