At 5am 01/31/02 in Meadville, PA the temperature was 33, cold rain noted. By 8am the temperatures began to rise and currently we have 54 degrees and rain, tying the record high set in 1988.
Our average snowfall by Feb 1st is close to 60+- inches. We have had 24 inches, and 6 of those inches were in October 2001.
