The national weather service has issued widespread wind advisories and some
high wind warnings for the Northeast. This sounds like it may be the
windiest day yet this winter. Temperatures will also fall quickly. Keep

Specifically, the NWS statement from Centre county in which WeatherMatrix
HQ is:
.A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL REACH THE WESTERN MOUNTAINS OF PENNSYLVANIA AFTER
10 AM...AND MOVE INTO THE THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY REGION AROUND 2 PM. STRONG
WEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP BEHIND THIS FRONT AND QUICKLY DROP TEMPERATURES BY
ABOUT 25 DEGREES WITHIN 4 HOURS OF ITS PASSAGE. WIND GUSTS OF UP TO 60 MPH
ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE WESTERN AND NORTHWEST MOUNTAINS BEGINNING LATE THIS
MORNING...AND CONTINUING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.
This will drop "feels like" temperatures quickly this evening so if you are
out in PA, especially late tonight, dress warmly and look out for wind
damage. AccuWeather.com forecasts winds sustained at 26 gusting to 57mph
with a temperature of 31 and RealFeel temperature of 12 tonight at 2am.
