Record Report for Temple, Texas
Located 60 miles north of Austin, Texas
For Tuesday, January 29, 2002
A new high low temperature for this date was set at the local NWS
reporting station in Waco. The low temperature only fell to 66 degrees
this morning , replacing the previous record of 65 degrees recorded in
1969. The normal low temperature for this date is 35 degrees. The low
temperature at my station here in Temple was 68 degrees. It has also
been quite windy today as I have recorded a peak wind gust of 37 mph.
D/FW tied their record high low temperature with 62 degrees that was
first recorded in 1968.
