mph at the Blue Hills. The highest in the area a New England. and the
Maritime Provinces. The following low pressures are usually not found
even in Hurricanes. Nantucket 28.88, Block Island 29.20, Bar Harbor
28.71, Saint John 28.50, Halifax N.S. 28.26, Yarmouth N.S. 28.15 /
953.
The Weather Channel at 7:00 P.M. reported at Yarmouth N.S. a low
pressure of 28.50 at 6.00 est and usually do not report to many Canadian
Weather events.
They commented that many hurricanes central pressure do not get this
low. The wind were generally less than 50 mile per hour. The pressure
continued to fall for the lowest at Yarmouth of 28.15 at a little after
8:00 AST. In Maine some power outages. East Bridgewater, Mass got about
1 inch of snow an a small limb off a tree down the street. This
