Well sitting here under sunny and calm skies I wonder what happened to "the
bomb" that was supposed to hit "with as much as 2 feet" of snow.
Here in Central Maine (Sabattus) close to the Lewiston Auburn area, we saw
mostly rain. Once it did change over to snow we accumulated about 4" of very
heavy wet snow. The kind that just sputters out of the snow blower.
The barometer was down to around 29.4 and at one point shortly after the
changeover we experienced an extremely loud clap of thunder which tripped
one GFI Ckt. breaker in the house! We lost power momentarily as well. Wind
wasn't really a factor either leaving it to otherwise be a rather uneventful
storm, at least from this vantage point.
