across the state overnight in advance of the next storm system. A
stratocumulus ceiling also penetrated the east central peninsula with
925-850 mb onshore flow. All acted to hold temperatures up overnight but in
a heterogeneous manner, with inland areas on and west of the central ridge
and into the SW Everglades seeing subfreezing temperatures and widespread
frost. The cold spot in the state this morning was 17 deg. at Cross City in
the non-peninsula north.
