Since the weather has been lacking excitement for the last few months,
ice on our street was bit of suprise. None the less, it took only 4
hours from the call to get it fixed (8:15pm Wed) until it was. Said one
of the workers: "We're not like (Washington) DC, we fix them when they
break." They even salted the street. Only was without water an hour,
leak itself was only 1-2 gpm.

Meteorologist Bob Ryan (out of the frame) explains his forecast for
Sunday's storm.
HIs confidence factor at 6pm was 1 (on 10 scale). At 11pm, it was up to
4, & leaning toward more snow than the 6pm forecast for Wash DC Sun/
Sunday night.

I will be busy much of the day today (Sat), partly in prepartion for
Sun's storm. I wont be leaving the house Sun & Monday (except for
playing in the snow). I hope this storm aint another bust for us.
Normaly by the first week of Jan we have had about 3 snows of more than
a dusting, & nearly a dozen "flurry days". This season, only 2 brief
flurries moments, nothing else!
