Not much to write home about here in Asheville. About
1/2 inch at my house, reports of up to 1" in the
county. Snow didn't begin falling until about 1am.
Virga onradar most of the day, but with humidities
near 40% during the daylight hours, it took a long
time for the precip to start reaching the ground.
Several accidents were reported however, because every
flake that fell stuck to road surfaces. Secondary
roads were snow covered until this afternoon, but main
highways weren't bad. Other counties south of here
had much more snow and accidents with some roads
impassable.
