[STORMREPORTS] Subtropical Storm 2 Forms In Atlantic

THE 2ND SUBTROPICAL STORM HAS FORMED IN THE ATLANTIC.

Advisories are being issued for the purpose of warning ships at sea of the threat of strong winds near the center of this large storm

At 4 PM EST...2100z...the center of subtropical storm two was located near latitude 30.5 north...longitude 49.5 west or about 920 miles...1480 km...east of Bermuda.

The storm is moving toward the north near 5 mph... 7 km/hr...and a turn toward the northwest is expected during the next 24 hours.

Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph... 95 km/hr...with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 24 hours.

Winds of 40 mph extend outward up to 490 miles...790 km...to the north of the center.
