[STORMREPORTS] 1st polar outbreak to come

Hi all from eastern Belgium,

after a strong system moved into west-central Europe
last night (with heavy showers, local lightning along
the dutch coast along with gusts up to 70-80km/h), a
first short winter impression is next, especially in
the higher elevation area (above approx. 400m) as a
back bent occlusion moves in from the NW this
afternoon.
We are expecting some heavy showers, along with small
hail and strong gusts, snow is expected to occur
tonight (hope so, Itīs not that usual up here so early
in the season...)
The weekend will be a cold one, frost at night and
chilly days with nerly winds before a new system will
bring milder weather to most of Germany and Benelux.
Very different conditions as compared to the
exceptionally warm october with mean temps about 4°C
above normal in our region
Regards,
Lars Lowinski
