A flood watch remains in effect for central and south Florida. The current
weather pattern across the state is due to training. Thunderstorms develop
and move slowly in various directions as the seabreeze fronts and upper level
winds remain weak. Areas beneath the storms will receive several inches of
rain. Moisture for these storms is being provided by a developing tropical
disturbance off Florida's southwest coast. All models indicate the system
will become tropical and move towards the North. Naturally the folks at the
TPC have another prognosis but what else is new.
