Tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico has
resulted in heavy rains across Texas in recent days.
Beaumont, Texas has received over 8 inches of rain in
the past few days which well exceeds it's monthly
average of just 4.8 inches.
High Island, Texas (60 miles ESE of Houston/45 miles
SSW of Beaumont)has received 25.40 inches of rainfall
this past week.
10 to 20 inches of rain has fallen over an area from
Downtown Houston south down Interstate 45 thru
Friendswood, League City, La Marque, NASA, Dickinson,
Kemah, Seabrook, Clear Lake & Galveston.
