I looked at those other radars right after the tornado was announced
and, frankly they were too far away to give any reasonable tornadic
indications. Wilmington is on the extreme fringe of KCAE [ Columbia]
near me, and KCLX which is the Charleston radar, which actually is
close to Savannah, GA nad isn't KRAX Raleigh, and the KMHX is the
closest. but...
THE STATE [newspaper here in Columbia] had the tornado on the front
page, and BIG headline stating 8 million in damage.
WPDE could have put up images other than that Microsoft movie
format. So ... I coulldn't view it.
