I have been too busy to report on the flooding of 6/29 and Sun's severe
(for some, not me) storms. Apparently the VA NWS offices have been too
busy to do a LSR also.
I had checked a few hours ago, & not one had done one for 7/1. Watching
tv reports, i know there were a lot of downburst winds, resulting in
tree damage near Wash DC & Baltimore MD.
I have the next few days off, so i hope to do complete report for the 2
events, & the projected record lows for tonight.
Forecast for lows in the 40s tonight, with NWS AFD's hinted at of the up
30s in the WV mountain valleys!
