It was a Stormy evening here in Upstate NY on this
Forth of July.
Natural Fireworks were seen in the sky as powerful
Thunderstorms pushed through the area. Wind damage was
the main factor with the storms with many towns
repoting trees and power lines down and one report out
of Schaghticoke in Rensselaer County of a house stuck
by lightning with minor injuries. Also in the city of
Albany a report of a tree that had fallen on a car
that caused damage. A few reports of hail as well.
Biggest report was out of Sunderland in Bennington
County in Vermont of 1.25 inch hail.
Storms have moved east and south of the Albany area
and we are looking for a dryer, windy and much cooler
weather day on Thursday with temps in the low 70s
