Two killed, dozens injured in Russian storms

MOSCOW, June 21 (AFP) - At least two people were killed and dozens
injured Thursday as strong storms swept across central Russia and
Siberia, news reports said. One woman was killed by lightning and
another hospitalized in serious condition in central Russia's Novgorod
district, where dozens of people were also reported to have received
injuries. In Siberia's Krasnoyarsk region, lighting killed a
19-year-old student and injured five other people. Weather
forecasters predicted heavy storms and near-hurricane strength winds for
