More cool weather is on tap for Northern Idaho with valley rains and
mountains snows tonight and tomorrow. Many valley locations will struggle to
make it into the mid-40's on Tuesday.

...Unseasonal Weather Expected Tonight And Tuesday...

A cold Pacific storm will move into eastern Washington tonight and Tuesday
dropping snow levels in the mountains to around 4000 feet. Snow
accumulations of 2-4 inches are possible in the mountains above 4000 feet
with and additional 1-2 inches by Tuesday evening mainly central Idaho
Panhandle mountains.

Temperatures are expected to drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s in the
mountains.

Hikers and campers should be prepared for colder temperatures and wet snow
through Tuesday. Those driving through the Idaho Panhandle passes be
prepared for winterlike driving conditions.
