I was up above Mc allister at I-40 Okla. There must have been a
dozen tornados around me according to Jim and Richard. Jim was
right there too, I'm surprised I didn't see him and the Cloud 9.
The DOW passed me somewhere near mcallester. Unfortunately, I
didn't see any tornados. Saw 2 wall clouds with heavy rotation,
but didn't put anything down. I did get into a supercell at
sunset at Kiowa, just below Mcallister. The trouble was, I was
IN it. Golfball, winds 50-70. The rumor is, Jim was in a
tornado. I haven't talked to him yet, so I don't know how valid
that is. You should have seen the supercells Powell, I'm without
words. Not a good chase area, hills and trees, like home. I'm
speechless, it was a great chase even without tornados. Would
you get the reports from that area and forward them. I want to
see the tornados I missed. I'll hop on bird tomorrow to catch
the supercells at home in SC. Hopefully, see you then.
Brad Riley
