Monday's weather featured light rain between 7-10am, and again after
9pm. There was some sun in the afternoon, otherwise clouds held the sky.

High was 55.5º at 5:26pm, & an evening low was 39.7º, at 11:54pm.
PWG was 32mph, at 5:40am, & a low wind chill of 21, at 11:51pm. Rain for
the day was .14".

Tue 4-17
Sunlight in the morning gave way as cumulus increased in the afternoon.
At 5pm, TWC radar showed about 3/4 of the area getting precip, mostly
snow west of the Blue Ridge mnts. However, some of that was not reaching
the ground. Flurries did fall here about 5:10pm.

The low was 34.1º, at 6:32am. The high was 50.1º at 2:33pm. It was
14º below normal & 2.5 hours early. PWG was 32mph at 3:43pm. The
airport had a sustained wind of 24mph at about the same time. Low
windchill was 15º, at 9:59pm.
Pollen count, incomplete due to rain, was 65, for trees.
A freeze warning was in affect here, much of VA, & west to Nebraska, &
south to GA. And our colder night will be early Thur.
At center of picture you can see a snow plume from earlier snow shower,
that did not fall here.
