[STORMREPORTS] New Bern, NC Storm Report

I was at work in Havelock, NC ( I was transferred recently to the New Food Lion there) when the storm was approaching. One of my stockers who is from TExas come running in the store and told me he thought he saw a tornado coming down. I run outside to see a scud cloud.

It was interesting to get his perspective of the storm today as he is used to "Tornado Alley". We got winds of around 25 mph and a little downpour but that was it. We did lose power for approximately 2 minutes and it came back on.

What is interesting is the fact that a tornado touched down in Carteret County 15 minutes later.
