Lightning is showing up in the Atlantic east of NJ. www.Weathertap.com
loop shows motion NNE toward an area between eastern Long Is and Boston.

{Accu Weather in storm mode, & a winter weather page may appear instead.
Just back out & try the link again.}

(I pulled the Boston page, one can get other maps for that region using
the pull down box.)

++++
Here in Winchester (nw) VA, the snow from overnight ended about 8am, &
totalled 1". It was all melted by 1pm. More wrap around snow showers
continue, and we are getting one now [2:45pm]. Anxiously waiting the
chance for another 1-3" tonight & Tue (my forecast). Accu weather & TWC
are still forecasting 3-6" totals, i just don't see that happening. And
the NWS had not put totals up thru 2pm for anything tonight/Tue.

It has become very windy, & i had sustained winds near 20mph w/ a PWG of
32mph about an hour ago.

More later
