As I type, it is FINALLY snowing here in the greater DC area. Of course, they're saying an inch or less (what happened to the foot or so predicted on Sat???--rhetorical question). We're still under a Winter Weather Advisory. It's 31 degrees out and the snow is sticking to the grass and cars. It started about 40 minutes ago. Our winds are varying from NE to NW and are light, and the barometer is 29.62 and steady (my old-timey baro has been up the spout all weekend more or less), dew point is 31 degrees and humidity is 100%. Schools in this area are open, making the school kids MOST unhappy (as well as their parents--wanted a free day off from work--a foot of snow would have guaranteed it).
Hope y'all up north enjoy our snow--we got gypped again, dadgummit! >:-{
