Report #003 Location: Point PLeasant, New Jersey ( Ocean County ) 1/2 mile from the Ocean

The Snow / Sleet has changed to a Rain / Sleet mixture. The tempature has remained right around 32 degrees. There is a 1/4 inch of ice coating just about everything. ( cars, trees, power lines, grass and even walkways and roadways).
Winds have been sustained at around 26 mph with gusts as high as 44 mph. so far. Many schools have been closed already as well a many businesses for Monday 3/5/01
We are now in a Coastal Flood Warning and a Winter Storm Warning. A Gale warning as well and a High Wind warning is expected to be posted overnight.

Rain is expected to continue into the night and early morning hours as warmer air will try and push north.
The latest Information from Emergency Mgmt in Ocean County will be included in Next Report and will be posted {at} 8:00am EST 3/5/01 ( sooner if needed )
