From: Bob Burger (bburger{at}home.com)
Date: Sun Mar 04 2001 - 20:42:36 EST

Report #002
Location: Point Pleasant , New Jersey... Ocean County .. 1/2 mile from the Ocean.

The light snow has changed to a mix of snow and sleet ( more like frozen pellets then sleet ).
Now under a Coastal Flood Warning, and the waves continue to increase in size. No measureable
accumualtion as of this time. However this icing has glazed over everything which I think is going
to be worse then snow, as power lines and trees are begining to ice over.
We are waiting for the change over as predicted to rain for a time, as the low presure
       moves closer.

       Current Temp. 31.8 (F)
Wind: From the East at 24 mph gusting to 41 mph
        Dew Point: 25 °F
        Humidity: 76 %
        Visibility: 4.00 mi
        Barometer: 29.90 inches and steady

Next report 11pm ( EST ) or sooner if needed.

Bob Burger
Chief of Police ( ret.)
