Location> New Jersey .. Ocean County... near the Ocean / Monmouth County border, 1/2 mi from the Ocean.
The first precep. here started as rain at 9:40am EST. Temp was 39.4 degrees. It has continued through mosy of the day as light snow/mixed with sleet and rain. The temps continued to drop throuhout the day. Temp now at 5:25pm is 32.2 degrees and the precep is all snow an has started to stick to various surfaces. ( Cars and grass ).

Winds out of the East at 18mph gusting to 40 mph
Ocean is becoming very rough. ( I am located 1/2 mile from Beach )
Volun. evacutation was started at 12 noon of the coastal areas, from Long Branch south to Long Beach Island. 4 of the local high schools have been opened for shelters.. The Emergency Management and Red Cross are on Alert Stand By here in Ocean and Monmouth Counties. Conditions are expected to diminish as this storm approaches and settles in off the coast. Flooding is expected along the coast. ( I am close to these areas ). Many business's have closed for Monday already along with several schools.
