Published 03/04/01 1:00 PM It's now been raining heavily over large portions
of the central peninsula for 4-6 hours AND heavy thunderstorms are now
moving across the Florida desert of the south central peninsula. No new
severe weather warnings have been issued since the 11:11 AM severe
thunderstorm warning for Manatee County but more are expected as the line
moves across the southern peninsula.
