A large heat signature (red) and smoke (light green) are visible in this

from a fire burning east of San Diego. The blaze that was started Wednesday
morning from
a vehicle fire has spread across 8,000 acres of land destroying several
homes. High winds
and dry vegatation helped fuel the fire that caused officals to order the
evacuation of
two casinos, a San Diego county jail, and hundreds of homes.

12:00 UTC. Ando has been moving southwestward at 9 knots with maximum
