Texarkana has been in an area of extensive convection with subfreezing
temperatures. It is really interesting to see how the report degrades
during the evening to the point where the barometer is the only thing
that's working!

The NEXRAD precipitation totals show up to 2 inches of rain in that
area... they must be buried in glaze!!
Paris, TX went offline after 2235Z (4:35 pm)... I assume either the
power went out or the lines went down.
Here east of Norman the freezing rain changed to sleet around 8 pm.
Hope you all in DFW pull through this one ok... what a storm!
